RE: World Championships moved to POLAND

Thank you all for the tremendous support I have received for the WKA World Championships 2019.

My team have been working very hard, behind the scenes, to ensure that you receive the best experience possible. Multiple Nations submitted their proposals, and while Georgia was initially selected, due to the increased number of competitors attending, we now need to find a sports facility large enough to accommodate all participants.

On Wednesday 23rd May, I held an emergency meeting of my senior executive team involved with the World Championship planning, and we decided that Poland would carry the banner for the WKA as this is the first World Championship under my presidency.

Poland has a very active fighting circuit, a strong team, and they have been incredibly supportive of WKA events over many years. It feels appropriate to bring this prestigious event to Poland in recognition of their continuous upholding of the WKA values.

I'm personally extremely excited by this as I believe the Polish management, along with my senior executive team, will create an experience that every WKA member will be proud to have attended.

To all National Presidents that have received their World Championship information, no pricing is changing.

Best Regards

It is with great pleasure that I two major announcements.

I am extremely proud to announce that Joe Rhino Koti has accepted the position of WKA New Zealand (Kickboxing New Zealand) President.

After a successful Thailand trip and his immense track record in his events and national training, both outgoing NZ President Maurice O'Connor and I felt he was the right person to take on the role.

Maurice O'Connor is not leaving the Kickboxing scene, he has accepted the role of South Pacific President and will be more heavily involved at the WKA International level along with ensuring standards as part of the Asia Pacific region.

I wish them all the best in their new roles and look forward to what they will achieve.
